Access to restricted areas, defending the physical integrity of customers and staff in the bank, and safeguarding bank assets are a few of the main objectives to be met by the security systems installed at banking entities. While guaranteeing the security of people and assets, security systems should not interfere in the day-to-day operation of the entity and should enable customers to come and go as smoothly as possible.

Protecting major data processing centres (DPC) against intrusion or terrorist attack is essential to reducing the threat of attack or sabotage. Any interruption in the service could lead to losses amounting to several millions of euros, and could also generate serious problems for both companies and their customers.

argus is the range of products from Proytecsa Security aimed at providing secure access to bank premises.

The controlled access gateways are built from a single block of steel with bulletproof glass doors, thus guaranteeing maximum protection against any attempted assault. Their metal detection technology - based on three-dimensional analysis - enables the detection of any weapons possibly being carried by someone as they enter the premises. Due to their capacity to differentiate between weapons and other metallic objects, there is no need to frisk individuals as they enter the premises to ensure they are not carrying any weapons.

Their telescopic single or double passage doors provide access to the premises while also perfectly catering for people with reduced mobility. In order to ensure suitable traffic flow, various access configurations can be established that give varying priority to entry, exit or a combination of both.

Data processing facilities require a perimeter protection solution that dissuades potential intruders from trying to gain access to the premises and also unequivocally detects any unlawful attempt to gain access.

thewall is the sensorised perimeter security fencing solution from Proytecsa Security that is especially designed to prevent and dissuade attempted intrusion into restricted areas. It consists of a high mesh density, high security robust fence with a special mesh structure that makes scaling the fence extremely difficult. This is combined with an array of sensors specifically designed to detect attempts to cut or jump the fence.

The array of anti-cut and anti-jump sensors has an NAR (false alarms) rate of 0%.  They require no regular calibration and are immune to weather phenomena, animal activity and plant activity. Installation is quick and easy, and the system unequivocally detects when attempts are being made to breach the perimeter, thus providing reliability and security against external threats.

The way in which the sensors are integrated into the fence reduces their chance of detection by possible intruders, thus leading to a lower probability of avoiding or countering them and significantly reducing detection vulnerability.
